Record of deleted users.

A lot were from a school using codea. I’ve sent aurumcoder two PMs. Also about necroing old posts and bumping.

Has anyone sent a PM to aurumcoder2624 yet that he is getting close to being deleted if he keeps replying to every post just to be included in them.

Briarfox and I have sent him multiple messages (I sent very long, very polite messages), and he has ignored all of them. Now he is bragging about improving every library in Codea, although he has yet to write any decent code.

We have no obligation to put up with jerks. I vote for deletion (of both his accounts!).

I just sent him a warning to back off and that he’s being considered for deletion. If he continues then I don’t have a problem with his deletion.

I think I just approved Noobatcoding. The first 3 IP numbers match the numbers I have above. His user name is Hai.

It was a disposable email address so I deleted him regardless

Just noting that Possible_Insanity also used a disposable email address. No posts yet.
ip: 209.89.215.133

I think all disposables should go, no reason to have them for the forum.

How do you tell a disposable. I have an app that allows me to ping an IP, but I don’t want to delete someone just because I don’t get a response from their email. I think as long as they follow the rules of the forum, they can stay. It’s possible they just want in to read what’s in the forum and have no plans to post anything.

look up the website in google, it tells you if it is disposable

I am with Briarfox, disposables have no place here

I’ve never used the email address of anyone here for any reason. So I’m not sure if it matters if the email address is real or not. I think some people don’t want to use their real email so it doesn’t get out and end up getting a lot of spam. Like I said above, as long as they follow the forum rules, I don’t care about their email. Maybe the users that don’t have an IP address listed should be deleted.

@dave1707 thats why we have junk email addresses. Disposable email’s usually last for 10 minutes and are used by spammers and trolls to create a bunch of accounts, or get past blocked email addresses.

done

@dave1707 - lol, aurumcoder took your warning to heart, he’s just commented on nine of the top ten posts.

Here is a message aurumcoder sent me. Apparently he doesn’t care about our suggestions to him. I have no problem if he gets deleted.

From aurumcoder.

Hey.

I understand all of you guys are secretly planning to ban me. I’m no fool.

Jim Elliot once said… A man is no fool. He gives what he cannot keep…

If I cannot keep my account, that is okay. I’ll give it up.

A lot of people say things about me like this… Well, just ask Ignatz what.

But I am NOT saying… " Ban me plz"! That is just strange. It is true I will be miffed when you ban me, but I won’t go the whole hog.

@dave1707 - I agree. He’s not going to change

@Briarfox - please confirm you also vote for deletion, then we have three

I agree, if he would just listen to our advice then he’d be fine. I vote ban.

I just accepted a new user and his IP address matched aurumcoder2624. I deleted him, so he’s trying to get in again.

Some days, NatTheCoder seems to be very similar to aurumcoder…

I see that also.
