Projects reordered??

My projects come up all reordered this morning. As far as I can tell they’re all there, but there are some up at the top that I’m sure I haven’t opened, much less modified, for ages.

What might be up with that? Thanks!

Tap on the gear icon at the top right of the Codea project page. There are two options to sort your projects, one in alphabetical order and one in recent order.

I did. They were not in alpha order. Recent order is just flat wrong, somehow. I’ve not tried to check the actual file dates.

@RonJeffries - are both sorting conditions totally unfamiliar? Or, does one option largely comply with your understanding of your expected order - with a couple of old entries at the front?

If you have been running older code to compare with new targets, depending on how many times you’ve run them and any editing changes you may have made, they could be at the head of the project list (or close to the head).

Recent changes in Codea have affected the display of projects in edited time order.

the alpha one worked if i recall, i’d have to double check. the chron one is wrong. there are some at the front of the list that i have not run for weeks.

If you make a change to a project, even just moving a line and moving it back will move that project to the beginning of the recents order.

yes. some of these haven’t been opened in recent memory, certainly not since saturday
