Small hint balloons over variable definitions can obscure the code text

@sim @John - sometimes when editing, ie popping a cursor into a complex design calculation, including named variables, can obscure the position of the cursor under the hint balloon. This makes deleting/editing of the variables difficult.

Edit: this occurs when you get word wrap from a long definition. An option to switch hints on and off would help.

Another case where the cursor is not visible is when the search has selected some text. The cursor is hidden by the highlight.
