@jfperusse @sim - I have played a little with Codea on my iMac and have always thought there was something lacking there. That is the ability to set/define a window size and lock it so that you can use WIDTH and HEIGHT correctly limiting the size of the screen you are displaying. A couple of questions:
- With the Mac app windows are there window chracteristic values that you exist and you can define/read ?
- Can you also define if a Mac window is adjustable in size/dimensions ?
- Can you also provide scrollable window dressing to minimise the window, such that you can modify the display either by shrinking the graphics present or by retaining the background as is but only displaying part of it by scrolling along the width and height of the window ?
That should enable Codea on the Mac to be close to the ultimate development format on Apple kit.
Edit: just noticed on the latest beta release an option to implement various screen orientations and sizes on my iPad. Will try on my Mac. Still would help if you could manually define the resolutions/orientation - back to accessing the window screen properties to enable editing.
