Revisiting iAd performance ...

Is the slower frame rate in codea apps with iAds just a result of
non native apps somehow being limited and not given 100% cpu,
or just how the iAd is placed on screen overwriting the Codea view?

I’ve found that when iAd ads are refreshed every 30 seconds there is a lag spike. So I don’t use iAds during gameplay unless it’s an app where the lag spike is not noticeable.

It’s a workaround and not a fix, but I wonder if it can be corrected.
I don’t think it happens in native iOS apps …
