While, scouring the forum for wiki content I ran acrossed this. It turns out I got distracted and went on to other things. I didn’t use real 3d in it. I guess the question would be, is a battlezone type game a good way to create an example of 3d or go more Quake-style? Should it wait for some future feature of Codea? (and even if it is a good example, I don’t know if I’m up to the task)
I think a battlezone clone is a good place to start, because you don’t have to worry about advanced things like character animation, lighting or levels, which would all be too much for Codea as it is. You just need enemies and a static panoramic landscape.
