Just letting you know I have switched the registration method from Approval (requires your approval) to using the new NoCaptcha ReCaptcha system:

I believe it does some analysis of how the mouse cursor is moved, how the user interacts with the page, and checks existing google cookies to see if the user is a human.
If this causes spammers to flood back in I’ll switch it back to approval, but hopefully it just makes life easier for everyone.
