All - has anyone found a way of building up complex multiple component models within Codea ?
I think it’s one of the areas under development for the next version of Codea - has anyone cracked this already? If so - any hints ?

You want to do in Modern Codea?
@Dinoball901 - I need to do it in either, I have some models in V3 that I would like to attach parts to.
But, I’d also like to transfer them to V4 so I can understand the V4 approach.
i guess you could use the parent/daugther relationship to ‘attach’ them together.
@piinthesky - hmmm, not come across that approach. I can understand the relationship but don’t know how to apply that in Codea.
Have you seen any examples in the forum you could point out ?
I don’t know of any examples, but i have used it myself.
The position of a daughter is relative to the parent. if you change the position of the parent all the daughters will automatically move as well. If you make the parent inactive all the daughters will become so as well. Try it!
If you go to the repo and download the flappy game. It uses the Modern Codea Components. You can study them. I will help you tomorrow need to sleep.
Check out one of my projects, it’s in v3 but i think that’s what you’re referring to
