I absolutely agree on that, @Reefwing. The initial burst of creativity it takes to get something up and running is often a joy, but the discipline really comes in when stomping bugs, building help screens, getting menus and images finalized, and hammering out all those details that make for a finished app.
In many ways it’s like writing a book (believe it or not, I’ve written thirty six books). People are always coming up with great ideas. That’s the easy part. Sitting down to grind out 500 pages of manuscript, then doing all the editing, putting every word on trial — that’s what makes you a writer.
