So, I’ve been getting my launch screens set up, and for the 6 plus and all the iPads you can set a landscape launch image. Once you try and set one up on the iPhone 6 or any iPhone below it, you can only set a portrait one. Ive seen several workarounds involving plists and stuff, but after setting up the plist file getting the images to work is over my head. Hopefully someone who has been here before can help me. Thanks 
EDIT: I ended up making a .xib file for my launch image. for iOS 7 I’ll have to look into launch images but hopefully ill find some way to make it to work
