Oh, and if you integrate music, make sure to give access to the microphone too!
@Jordan: Well, that’s one reason, but mainly the separation is good because music/sfx, while basically just being audio files, each have functionality that that the other doesn’t need, and you can usually optimize each separately based on their use cases.
For example, typically on iOS, I like the music to be in stereo, at the best quality practical quality, but I usually compress SFX (and convert them to mono if I can get away with it) as much as I can in order to save space. Incidentally, for certain formats, iOS also supports hardware decompression, so with those formats you get the advantage of both smaller file sizes and more efficient playback.
I’d pay to be able to turn the number selection off.

If you’re going to add music, please add microphone input, too, and maybe word detection. I know that would be hard, but maybe there’s some sort of built-in thing, as Siri can hear what you say. It would be a good addition to my iPad Kinect, too… (Coming soon)
