+1 on limiting the number changing feature. Please put in a switch in the options to turn this off, so that way you can keep your code intact and wrap it with an if() 
SAme with that color selector. It’s nice for starting projects (I certainly us it 50% of the time!) but once you are “in”, it does cause issues. If() that one away, too?
BTW@Mark, when I use a keyboard with Codea, these issues are minimized, as I usually edit on the keyboard and use cursor keys to move around small blocks of code.
