Retain UNDO over a run

Maybe it’s just me, but the most likely time for me to want to undo something is right after I test it and discover what a truly bad idea it is. Therefore it would be nice if the UNDO stack was preserved over a run.

I’m also often a bit confused by what has been UNDOne, because sometimes the editor doesn’t seem to show what has just happened.
