This is a very simple prototype of multi player Pentago which is a great board game I discovered recently. The goal is to connect 5 pieces in row (vertical, horizontal or diagonal). The twist is that in each turn the player is also required to rotate one of the 9 big panels by 90 degrees in either direction.

Very simple rules but in the first few games I played with friends, the game finished when someone placed their 5th or 6th piece because it’s hard to keep track of all the ways people might win.

I don’t have all the game rules implemented yet (eg it doesn’t restrict rotations to be 90 degrees, or even to one panel only for that matter), but it’s playable already.


Oh. Wow! Nice. I missed it. Looks really fun. Now I want the real game…
