I no longer hear sound no matter what in codea

When I go into the music function click inside of it go to Dropbox and listen to my music it no longer makes a sound.

I have fifty projects with sound that is generated by codea and come from Dropbox. They all no longer have sound.

My volume is up. I checked the forum for a solution before posting it said something about a ringer. I don’t know what the ringer is but when I go to settings > general > sound everything seems to be turned up.

I turn the iPad on and off and the sound still does not play. I have to many big projects in codea that I’m working on to uninstall and reinstall codea as it would be over 4 gigs of project backing up.

Does anybody no how to get sound to work again or what’s going on?

I have an application where you simply hit the button and the sound effect happens then the song from the drop box plays.
I get nothing, nada, no sound.
I also use text to speech function in nearly all my applications and it is not working anymore as I hear no sound and no reading of the text when before it was working perfectly.

@MasterGeniusX What type of ipad and version of iOS are you on. If you don’t get any sound from any app, then you don’t need to uninstall/install Codea since it sounds like an iOS/iPad problem. Try going into an app that has sound and use the 2 side buttons that raise and lower the volume. Sometimes when the sound doesn’t work for me I press the side volume buttons and notice that the volume is muted. Also make sure that the little switch above the 2 volume buttons isn’t set to mute and you have it turned to mute. Have you tried restarting the iPad instead of turning it off/on, holding down the top and bottom front buttons until the Apple logo appears.

I have an iPad Pro 12.9 iOS 11.4.1. There is no sound that is accidentally muted. The sound works in every other program besides codea. I don’t have a switch to mute an I unmute as this is an iPad Pro. I check the side volume buttons precisely only to find that they are up and yet I hear no sound.

Try going to Assets, A Hero’s Quest and select one of the songs. While it’s playing try using the side volume buttons and turn it down to mute and back to full volume. Let me know if that does anything or not. If not I’ll try to think of something else.

On iOS 11 (and possibly 12), make sure silent mode is off:
