How can I record sounds from the microphone?

I have skimmed the reference and found no obvious way to record sound. Anyone know? (Sorry if I sound stupid)

Codea doesn’t offer a way to do this, unfortunately. It’s primarily a graphics app.

What ive found is that if your device aupports audio input, codeas text buffer displays whats spoken if you press the “microphone” key on the keyboard
