Health in Dungeon Roller?

I don’t understand how the health in the Dungeon Roller example works. Can someone please explain to me how this works?

Hero health?

If the monster detects that it is close enough to the hero, it calls the hero’s damage function.

I didn’t understand it because of the ‘self.invulnDuration’, but after taking a closer look on the damage function, I understood it XD
