ok Dave - Age 55 to 80 I played with BBC Basic on the old Beeb computer. Hopefully from 87 to 90+ I’ll be playing along with Codea and my iPad.
It’s a long way from Maths Tables and a slide rule.

@Steep Speaking of slide rules, I collect them. So far I have 131. Only 23 are duplicates.

@Steep Look at this link.

EDIT: On newer iPads, the value of the 2 strokeWidth lines should be changed to a lower value.

@dave1707 - my grandfather once gave me a circular slide rule in the shape of a large watch. Unfortunately, it was broken, and I don’t have it now.

And an insurance company I once worked at, had a cylindrical slide rule about 2 feet tall, to do accurate calculations.

But I remember the slide rules I had at school, and the log tables too…

I have two slide rules. The first one I bought wood with plastic surface, the other a 6" all plastic one that was handed out as as a salesman perk. Time was when slide rules were not allowed in examinations. Maths tables were provided.
Dave - Doubt I will have time to acquire the knowledge to do a prog like your slide rule. It does look better with the stokeWidth reduced to 2.
