It’s just odd what ios can ipad 1 run? On my ipad 2 ios 6 the search works every time.
The iPad 1 can only go to iOS 5.1.1 . Sometimes the search works, but most of the time it doesn’t. If it can work once, it should be able to work all the time. It’s just a matter of finding out why it isn’t.

So I have a work arround but I don’t know why I need one just for searching the forum.
@Jmv38 You can probably upgrade on your own somehow to something, but you won’t get any support from Apple. I think that’s Apple’s way of selling products. “LABEL1” Sell a bunch of devices, then stop supporting them so you have to buy a newer device which they’ll stop supporting so you have to buy a newer device “GOTO LABEL1”. My iPad 1 works just fine (most of the time) for what I want it to do and I’ll keep it until it dies. By then, I’m sure something totally different will be out.
@DaDo I gave up trying to use the forum search. I use Google and add site:twolivesleft.com . That works good enough for now.

Mine works fine too. And my beloved kids just offered me a nice ultra robust lever cover for it, for father’s day, so i’m not going to switch to a new model for a while. But there a quite a lot of nice apps that are ios6+ only, and i wont get them. Well, i’ll just have to program them with Codea… 
Hope TLL will continue to support ios5.x…
By the way, I’m certain this is just an oversight, but there are no numbers at the bottom of the ‘My Bookmarks’ tab in the new Codea Talk. The number on the tab still shows I have 200 Bookmarks, but it only displays my latest 50 starred conversations. Since there are no links (< 1 2 3 >) at the bottom, I don’t know how to get to the other pages.
I didnt realize you could star a conversation!
@Briarfox, ‘conversation’ may not be the correct term. I guess ‘discussion topic’ is what I meant to say. Anyway, it’s not really an issue as long as you don’t have more than 50 bookmarks. I’ll just have to whittle mine down a bit.
@Ric_Esrey I know what you meant, I had just never noticed it. I had been physically bookmarking posts in my browser.
